LDN consists of a dedicated team of instructional designers, consultants and facilitators located throughout Australia and New Zealand backed by experienced account and project managers as well as graphic design and production teams.
Our team members are the driving force behind our approach to community engagement and our company’s success. LDN has a diverse and inclusive workforce of highly experienced experts. Our people excel in what they do, yet understand personal satisfaction and well-being requires giving back to our community and contributing in areas we are each passionate about.
LDN s team has always included individuals from a range of different ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds.
Our team also has representation from indigenous communities.
Staff ages range from their 20 s to 70 s. We see the wisdom age brings, and the value youth brings to LDN.
We have a high proportion of women, particularly single parents adding value to our team every day.
At LDN, difference is seen as an asset, not a hindrance.
Performance is rewarded based on results, not the package that generated that result. We value gender, cultural, sexual, and social diversity which creates an inclusive workforce.
LDN believes in employment quotas for those with a disability or other minorities for the sole purpose of supporting the removal of any unconscious bias that may be present in recruiting and promoting team members. We believe once quotas are met, they are no longer needed (although ongoing monitoring is required) because the unconscious bias regarding the particular area in question has been removed from the organisational culture.
Because of this, LDN has a quota that 50% of our full, part-time or casual workforce is made up of talented people who just happen to have a disability or identify as indigenous, female, single parents, are over 50, and/or asylum seekers or refugees. Â We also have a target that 50% of all leaders in our business must also have representation from the areas above. LDN has exceeded this target for more than 10 years.
